Sweet Sleep, the Pillowcase Prayer Ministry

The ladies of the Morning Joy Circle are ready to begin year two of our Sweet Sleep Pillowcase Prayer Ministry.  You have only to let one of us know when you have a friend, family member, loved one, or neighbor who has a physical emotional, or spiritual life crisis and wold benefit from prayer and the gift of a pillowcase.  In fact, Pastor Rick is always telling us to disciple beyond our church doors so in your comings and your goings, if you know of someone in our community that has such a need, please let us know.  We feel so blessed and humbled to be helpful hands and feet for our Lord, Jesus.  You can pickup a request form from the office or call any Morning Joy member or Sandy Stryker, 706-754-5778 or email at pstryker@windstream.com.

Stephen Ministry

Our Stephen Ministers are trained caregivers, ready to listen, encourage you, pray with you and for you, and help you through.

Your Stephen Ministry Team is planning to train a new class of Stephen Ministers.  Look for an announcement of an exploratory meeting in February.  You can ask questions there, or you can ask any Stephen Leader of Minister.

Stephen Ministers at CFUMC are Sally Cougill, Dale M. Daniel, Mary Lanier, Dotty Parsons, Pam Spangler, and Jim Staples.  Our Team leaders are Debbie Gagliolo & Ron Waters.

For a confidential referral to a Stephen Minister, contact one of our Stephen Leaders directly or call the office and speak to Rev. Price.
