Habersham Home East Nursing Home Visitation: Join us at 6:00pm nightly on the 4th Monday night for singing and fellwoship with a sweet group of folks.
Meals On Wheels: We commit to deliver meals during the week follwoing the first Sunday of the month. Volunteers and substitutes always welcomed!
Habersham Soup Kitchens: Our foks volunteer regularly at the local soup kitchens. Desserts and helpers are needed.
Stephen Ministry: Our Stephen Ministers are trained caregivers, eady to listen, encourage you, pray with you and for you, and help you through. For a confidential referral to a Stephen Minister, call the Church Office.
Prison Ministry: Our congregation collects a variety of items for the women inmates including business-style clothing, lotions, shampoo, soap, watches, etc. Drop boxes are located in the Fellowship Hall and Church Office. Visits are made once a quarter.
CommUnity Thrift Store: Located on the Square in Clarkesville. Providing clean, used clothes and household items at reasonable prices. Proceeds support local non-profit ministries. Hours are Tues-Sat., 10am-2:00pm. Donations and volunteers always welcomed!
Sweet Sleep Pillowcase Prayer Ministry: A ministry of prayer and caring by the Morning Joy UMW Circle. Homemade pillowcases are signed and prayer is committed for those with a physical, emotional, or spiritual life crisis.
